TT Scale Model Railway Layout "Drei Annen Hohne"

deutsche Version

***** FOR SALE! *****

To make space for new projects, my 'Drei Annen Hohne' layout is for sale. The layout has been featured several times in German model railway magazines (Eisenbahnmagazin, TT-Kurier) and was presented on model railway exhibitions, e.g., on the Hamburger Modellbautage.

It has an exhibition-friendly detachable benchwork. The height of the module boxes is 140 mm. The module interfaces meet the older AKTT standard. For convenient transportation, the three main modules may be attached one above the other between two side boards with holding handles. Points are operated by Fulgurex motor drives with a modified inner circuitry enabling them to be controlled by standard point controls instead of the Fulgurex-style polarity change principle. Trains are controlled by an analogue electronic Heisswolf throttle.

The layout is permanently displayed in my home and may be shown in operation to visitors. Contact: joern.pachl@gmx.de

This modular TT scale layout shows the standard gauge part of the prototype station Drei Annen Hohne, which is located in the mountain section of the former Halberstadt-Blankenburg Railway (HBE), which is also known as the Ruebelandbahn. The situation plays in the late 1940s shortly before the take over of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. In 1962 this part of the station Drei Annen Hohne was abandoned. The narrow gauge part of Drei Annen Hohe which belongs to the Harzquerbahn (not shown on the layout) is still in operation.

Here is a picture of the station Drei Annen Hohne. A passenger train headed by the locomotive "Elch" has just arrived while mallet No. 96 024 (a leased DR locomotive) shunts in the background.
